 DÉFILÉ DU JOUR|

DÉFILÉ DU JOUR| Elie Saab SPRING/SUMMER 2015 #PFW DAY 7For a minute I thought I was at Milan Fashion week, or a vacationing in Miami. I saw vibrant color coming down the Runway at the Elie Saab SPRING/SUMMER 2015 Paris fashion Week catwalk show. In my eyes we hit two hot cities in one collection, Miami and Fes. Elie Saab wanted us to Dive into the Deep Blue. The SPRING/SUMMER 2015 collection was inspired by the intense color, glistening surfaces, and the hidden beauty of the underwater world.

The Garments

The show stopping pieces from the collection were inspired by the color dye used to dye leathers and scarves in the Moroccan city of Fes. Prints perfect for a night in Miami were drenched in color in a selection of styles. Prints bubbled across dresses in ombre effects, inspired by the changing colors of darting marine life. The color pallet is mainly of tropical colors; lagoon green, sea mist, coral flecked with vibrant yellow, and deep pure shade of blue inspired by the Amalfi Sea. Elie Saab abstracts its signature lace, as if worn away by the salt of ocean spray. It is combined with the foliate lace in gowns that cascade around the body.

The Accessories

DÉFILÉ DU JOUR| Elie Saab SPRING/SUMMER 2015 Luping-WangAs you see from the catwalk pictures you cannot miss the accessories. The slender Elie Saab Poincaré bags and sandals are made in iridescent skins that plays on the eye by mimicking the exotic life of a fish  Call it another Ode to Mermaids Trend.. The gown remains the same at Elie Saab, the women has changed now she loves the beach.
