Love is in the Air at Dauphin
During Paris Haute Couture week this season, I had the pleasure of putting my hands on Dauphin Fluid Captured collection. It was introduced to the press this January 2018 during Paris Haute Couture. This is the place I fell in love with the collection. Why cause the rose gold items matched my hair.
DAUPHIN PRESENTS FLUID – CAPTURED
The capsule collection of stackable rings created and designed by the house’s creative director Charlotte Dauphine de la Rochefoucauld. Who was there to walk us thru the collection. This is how I found my adoration for the Fine Jewellery Brand. Charlotte is creating jewels for a modern woman. Because today’s girl is not only looking for a wedding ring.
The series of rings rescues the creative codes of the house’s open rings and stackable bands in their various sizes while introducing new finishes and colors. Dauphin presents a new type of brown diamonds on a Rose Gold Base for metallic ‘ Camouflage’ blending effect that complements the shades of the house’s delicate color palette. In a rare move, the collection is violently punctuated with saturated reds, with the introduction of pigeon blood rubies. A first for the house.
Fine Jewellery Friday
The immateriality of the fluid elements is retained, yet captured in some creations, while others display diamonds and ruby waves, poetically falling from the inside of the hand of the wearer, imitating gold infusion, blood stains or diamond waves.
The collection captures the theme of Valentine’s Day with a palette of shades of reds and roses. And plays with the antagonism of Love. From its delicacy to its violence, from changing to setting things free.
Isn’t this what love is made of? Alluring fine jewelry that makes you want to fall in Love. Or a piece of jewelry that shows how much you are in love with your girl? It does not have to be a ring to symbolize your love does it.
