Couples Travel Ideas
Don’t we all just need a Summer of love this 2017. Are you organising a couples travel get away? Then head on down to the The Grove. We highly recommend The Summer of Love Pop-Up Bar at The Grove UK.
I know I need a drink and some cuddles this summer. Let’s get back into the peace and love that summer is all about with inspiration from the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, The Grove in Hertfordshire has created it’s very own Flower-Power pop-up bar which will take up residence in The Grove’s beautiful formal gardens throughout the summer, open to residents and non-residents alike.
Arriving this July, the Flower Power Bar is a psychedelically transformed VW campervan, with a menu of groovy cocktails especially created for the occasion – all just 20 minutes from central London!
From the moment it opened, The Grove in Hertfordshire broke the mould for country hotels, and was described as ‘groovy grand’ and ‘London’s country estate’. The perfect setting, in fact, for re-visiting The Summer of Love 1967 – and a generation of freethinking people who stood up to be counted while proudly proclaiming their willingness to be different.

This summer guests visiting The Grove will be able to travel back in time half a century, not to San Francisco, but to the hotel’s 300 acres of green Hertfordshire parkland where the spirit of ’67, Flower Power and the dawn of the hippy age will be alive and well again. Let’s get swinging, with no inhibitions.
