Celebrating China at Bicester Village

As Chinese new year approaches, Style Cartel are grateful for many things. Especially because this Chinese New Year is expected to be a great one for all signs! Our Style Editor is on her way to Bicester Village to Celebrate China in London.  Where she was invited to enjoy a pop-up shop featuring leading Chinese designers curated by Susie Bubble.

Celebrating Chineses New Year Early at Bicester Village

Chinese designers have come into their own in the last few years with so many graduating from the world’s top fashion schools, launching their own labels and showcasing these in London, New York and Paris. Their work covers the spectrum of aesthetics and extends far beyond their own cultural parameters. It’s a really exciting time for young Chinese designers today,” says Susie Bubble, AKA Susie Lau

The pop-up will house designers such as Huishan Zhang – a former winner of the BFC Fashion Trust Award and an LVMH award finalist. As well as a slew of rising stars whose designs strike a powerful chord with new fashion tastemakers, and consumers. Time to bring on the good luck, red envelops and go shopping. Glad I went to the vintage shop and sold things this weekend. The luxury of living in Notting Hill London.

The ‘Celebrating China’ offers guests to Bicester Village an exciting opportunity to shop leading Chinese brands all under one roof. New-generation designers include the likes of Ryan Lo, Anaïs Jourden, Mukzin, I Am Chen, Marie Yat, Xu Zhi, Matter Matter, Yang Li and Snow Xue Gao; all powerful voices on the catwalks of global fashion weeks and many recipients of the world’s most prestigious new-talent awards.

What a way to celebrate the first-ever POP- CUP Shop at  Bicester Village to mark Chinese New Year. ‘Celebrating China.’ That will be hosted by the Oxfordshire-based shopping destination from 29 January to 17 February.

The 29th is a press event where we will give you the inside scoop via our Instagram.  After that go check it out for the Chinese New Year and Valentines Day another reason to wear red.
