Celebrity Look of the Week | Gigi Hadid at the AMAs

All fashion bloggers have been talking about her since the AMAs last week. Gigi Hadid made a statement when she hosted the AMAs last saturday.

The famous model wore a lot of different outfits, all stunning and fashionable. From dresses to jumpsuits, Gigi Hadid went all in. Here are her most beautiful outfits.

THE BLACK GLAM’ DRESS

This dress is without a doubt my favorite. I love the details of this dress. The texture of it reminds me of the tail of a mermaid, and I am completely smitten.

THE GLITTER SEE-THROUGH JUMPSUIT

This outfit is really bold, and she managed to make it super glamour ! I am not a fan the see-through in any outfits to be honest, but this jumpsuit is very pretty without being crazy.

THE CLASSIC NUDE DRESS WITH A TWIST

My favorite thing about this dress is the length. Again, the texture of the dress is very mermaid like, the cut-outs are very detailed and let’s not forget about the chocker, THE trend of this year.

THE LACE WHITE DRESS

Obviously, Gigi likes her see-through. I am not a huge fan of this dress, but I like the boho vibe.

THE FEMALE SEXY SUIT

The statement is clearly the blazer here. Combined with the matchig shorts, it gives a very elegant figure.

THE RED ON RED

I really like this bold and shiny red. Gigi went all red for this look : red pumps, red lips.

What do you think of her looks ?

You’d be darned to find a day of the year as prestigious as the first Monday of May. First held in 1948, the Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, was founded to encourage donations from New York’s high society and today the most recognisable faces from fashion, art, music and film gather to raise money for the Met’s Costume Institute and commemorate the opening of the museums latest exhibition. Founded by Eleanor Lambert, Anna Wintour has taken reign of the event since 1995, raising almost $175 million and enlisting the most prominent names to co-chair the events including the likes of Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Marc Jacobs and Gisele Bundchen. The 2018 Met Gala, which also marks the 70th anniversary of the soiree will be co-chaired by Amal Clooney, Rihanna and Donatella Versace and sponsors include Apple, Condé Nast, Farfetch, H&M, Maison Valentino and Warner Bros.

The 80s were a fabulous time in fashion. Across the fashion capitals, structured shoulders, bodysuits and sequins were amongst some of the biggest and wildest trends commanding centre stage. While all of that was happening, somewhere, under the warm Californian sun, Shawn Stüssy was somewhere printing t shirts with the same signature that appeared on his surfboards. Probably little did he know that decades later his printed trademark signature on simple graphic tees would decades later play a part in streetwear becoming one of the most lucrative fashion business models of the 21st century.

When rumours began swirling on the internet earlier this year that Rihanna was to expand her empire by adding a lingerie line, things just haven’t been the same since. Rihanna in typical fashion teased her upcoming lingerie line Savage x Fenty (coincidently national lingerie day, who could have guessed?!) on Instagram captioning ‘Errrday #NationalLingeRIHday! Getchur coins ready for May 11th! #SavageXFenty drops worldwide Xclusively on SavageX.com!’ and quite frankly our coins have never been more ready.
