Beyoncé wants you to adopt a plant-based diet – in exchange for lifetime concert tickets

If you are still feeling the reluctance to shift your diet to a plant-based one, Beyoncé might just be here to convince you otherwise. Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who have been practising a plant-based diet for a few years, have announced their partnership with The Greenprint Project, giving fans a chance to win lifetime tickets to see both artists. The catch – you must commit to a plant-based diet.

Beyoncé posted the announcement on Instagram, with the competition tied to Marco Borges, their personal trainers, new cookbook, The Greenprint: Plant-Based Diet, Best Body, Better World.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Beyoncé and Jay-Z curiosity for the Vegan diet. Last year, she announced that she would be adopting a plant-based diet to get herself ready for her performance. A few years back, they also launched 22 days nutrition, a vegan service meal alongside Marco Borges

The project aims to encourage people to look at ways of incorporating a plant-based meal into their diet. They don’t specifically except you to go cold turkey but provide options to begin to work it into your daily routine. Some options include Meatless Mondays, plant-based breakfast or 2 plant-based meals a day. And if saving the environment and committing to a healthy lifestyle doesn’t quite sell it for you, then the chance to win lifetime tickets to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z perform (well technically 30 years but that’s still a lifetime!) should sway your opinion

Veganuary has ended on a record high this year, with a record of 250,000 participants going vegan for the month of January, exceeding the number of the previous 4 years combined when it was launched in 2014. It was also announced on the 4th January that the first ever Vegan Fashion Week is set to take place in Los Angeles from the 2-3rd of February
