Twisted realities and media meltdowns, Wonderland Magazine Autumn Issue showcase the talent defining an addictively unpredictable 2017. This season, the unconventional Hollywood star, Robert Pattinson features is the cover star, following the runaway success of a Good Time at Cannes and whisperings of a potential Academy Award nomination, he’s a world away from his tween blockbuster beginnings. Controlling his own cover shoot and interviewed in conversation with the best-selling author of Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Yuval Noah Harari, the issue is in part led by Pattinson’s creative direction.

Peering into the mind of a creative in charge, Pattinson has curated a special portfolio of pop culture heroes, icons and radical thinkers shaping his unique universe today. From pop culture icons like Pamela Anderson and next-gen meme creator Sebastian Tribbie (@youvegotnomale), to his creative collaborator’s Daniel Lopatin of Oneohtrix Point Never and Good Time directors, Joshua and Ben Safdie.
Alongside him, Margot Robbie graces the Autumn cover, photographed by Gia Coppola and starring in Goodbye Christopher Robin this Autumn, a look into the life of Winnie The Pooh author, A. A. Milne. Also appearing as an American sweetheart gone bad in the forthcoming biopic I, Tonya, she reveals what it’s like to fall from grace at the center of an international scandal. Or at least, what it’s like to pretend to. The heartthrob is all grown up and wants to show the fashion crowd what he’s made of.
Inside, Wonderland sits down with designers-cum-auteurs, Rodarte’s Mulleavy sisters and their longtime muse Kirsten Dunst, ahead of the release of Woodshock, the pair’s debut feature that sees Dunst fall deep through drug-induced layers of reality and insanity.
