Remember those days when you had to be careful not to leave a lipstick stain of someone’s cheek or lips? Those days are over.
The makeup market is at its best, and we can find anything we want. Let’s talk today about transferproof liquid lipstick everyone should try. You can find plenty high-end ones (Tarte, Tarteist being my favorite), but since I talk a lot about expensive brands, I thought it would be appropriate to talk affordable today. Let me present you three liquid lipstick you can find at the drugstore at a reasonable price.
The key to making a lipstick last is to prime your lips first. You can exfoliate with a lip scrub if you have time, but you absolutely have to moisturize your lips with a balm. It will make the lipstick look smoother. I find that using a lip liner underneath is easier and make the application of the lipstick quicker. No need to go crazy with it, only outline your lips with a nude or peachy shade, and then go over it with a lipstick.
Maybelline, Super Stay 24h
“This long-lasting lipstick won’t cake, dry, or flake thanks to our proprietary Microflex technology. Meet the wonder
that stretches the limits of long-lasting lip color. Our proprietary Microflex technology keeps lips looking and feeling freshly applied.”
The good thing about this liquid lipstick is that it has a lipstick side and a balm side. All in one. Apply the liquid lipstick first, and then finish with the balm that will help make it stay on your lips and give you the hydration you need. You can find this liquid lipstick at every drugstore, available in 15 different shades.
Sephora, Cream Lip Stain
“A silky, long-lasting lip stain that keeps lips covered with bold color from AM to PM—no need to
reapply or touch up throughout the day. This bestselling, high-coverage lip color glides on smooth
and transforms from a creamy texture into a silky, lightweight stain. Infused with avocado oil, the long-lasting
formula delivers rich color that feels comfortable, is never sticky, and won’t dry out lips.”
This one is my go-to liquid lipstick. It is crazy simple to apply, and the result is flawless. It doesn’t budge, you can drink, eat without fear of the lipstick transferring. I am definitely going to buy more shades because I really love it.
Maybelline, Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick
“Ink your lips in up to 16 HR saturated liquid matte. SuperStay Matte Ink™ features a
unique arrow applicator for precise application and is available in a range of super saturated shades.”
This liquid lipstick is brand new. Maybelline came out with it a couple of months ago, and all the beauty bloggers I know have been raving about it. Out of the three I presented you, this one presents the more probability of not budging. It has beautiful shades, really pigmented and wearable. But you should know that it takes a lot of efforts to take it off. To avoid ruining your lips, use oils to get rid of it.
