Let us get back to Fitness Friday everyone. Over the holidays, I fell off my workout routine. Haven’t we all. But now it is the beginning of the year and time to think of working on the summer body and fashion week ready. We have a list of places to stay fit in London for 2020 that you at least need to try once.
Europe can sometimes be behind the fitness game. When a workout trend explodes in the US, it takes a minute to get over the Atlantic. Spin class is one of my favourites ways to get fit, and it is exploding in the UK at the moment.
Where to Stay Fit In London This 2020
For me getting on a treadmill does not excite me. Another favourite way I like to stay fit is a class influenced by dance. So if you wish to workout with music and sweat, here are a few of my favourite places in London to feel the beat in your heart and sweat on your forehead to boost the collagen.
We had the opportunity to go to classes and the launch of the new emplants of the US spinning studio Soul Cycle. They have come to London to spread their love of spinning. The latest studio just opened in Notting Hill.
The studios are modern and have everything to get you to motivated for work or after work fun. If you like a playlist that’s more house music and electronic music vibe, this is the spin studio for you. If you have been to Soul Cycle in the US, it is still adapting to being in the UK.
This studio is excellent for those who have never done spinning before. The instructors will ease you into what all the noise is all about. Plus they have a cute little shop where you can find outfits to show your team Soul Cycle. After you get addicted to jumping on a saddle and riding to the beat.
This luxury boutique-style fitness studio is my ideal zen retreat. I love it, depending on your mood you can choose from a plethora of classes. From boxing to yoga and everything in between to work on your core. I would love to have a body like any of the instructors, and that is a good thing.
The studio is cool, hip and healthy. This January they are launching BLOKmove and BLOKsound. Which sound like something I would really enjoy because I like good music and dancing. Some of my other favourites BLOKPARTY, YIN YOGA, DYNAMIC VINYASA, barre, and cardio killer, to name a few.
This is yet another feel-good environment. With a locker room to remark your progress and take a cool selfie. Blok London also has all products to start your day, or night right after a workout. With healthy products for ourselves and the environment to freshen up with after your workout. The atmosphere is spa-like lush with showers, hairdryers and flat irons too. Bring your own towel is suggested, but you can rent one for those days you forget to bring one.
Psycle London WESTBOURNE
In my part of town, there are a plethora of places to look good and stay fit. Psycle London is a great place to get back on your fitness game. Enter the dark studios and get ready to ride to your favourite type of music mixed with good vibes and helpful meditations.
Here you can grab a healthy smoothie before or after class. When I walk out of the studio, I feel happy and smiling from check to check. The instructors and staff give off that feel-good vibe from the minute you walk into the studio to when you order your mocktails and leave.
They are ready and waiting to give you your biking attire and adjust the bike inside the studios to coordinate with your fitness level and body type. Their locker rooms are also decorated like a luxury spa. With all the products for healthy skin and hair.

Dan’s is a boutique Latin American inspired dance studio offering a range of fitness and wellness classes located in the heart of central London. We had the opportunity to shake it, shake it, shake it in the Reggaeton Fitness class. Then booked more lessons in the studios named after the great Celia Cruz.
I still watch music videos, to learn the latest Reggaeton dance moves motivates me not to be late for class. The studio also has food and a high juice bar to stay on the hip and healthy path before and after class. Walking into the studio and dance classes feel like you have just walked into a hot paradise. Just what we need sometimes living in London.
DAN’S, a new pay-to- dance studio on Cavendish Place, London, welcomes you to dance and sweat. Even though you might not know the words to all the songs on the instructor’s playlist. Their aim is to uplift your spirits and make sure you move.
DAN’S Fitness – combines Latin dance moves with a resistance band and dumbbell training for a cardio workout. Charged by one of four different Latin styles, you feed the energy of dance into an uplifting and strengthening exercise.
DAN’S Technique – allows people of all skill levels to improve their dance technique, and helps push what you can do on the dance floor like never before.
This place is excellent for those working in Central London. You can pop in when you want to get your mojo back. It would also be a pre-date work so you feel sexy the minute you walk out with the Latin vibe in your blood, which would call for a hot evening.
Enjoy the great New Year and move people. I hope you enjoyed our little January motivation to stay hip and healthy this year. Now it is time to go work on the core follow us on Instagram if you want to join the conversation.
