When Karl Lagerfeld calls you go running. Even though the icon has gone to the other side, his namesake brand has gotten a new life. We were invited to the Successful Endless x Karl Lagerfeld – Collection and Exhibition. It was held last week at the store on Regent Street and then off to the gallery close by. All I wanted was a hoodie when we left.
Successful Endless x Karl Lagerfeld
We hung out with the British street artist Endless at the iconic fashion house of Karl Lagerfeld. Where they launched a capsule collection at the Karl Lagerfelt Regent Street location. After that, the “Endless Karl” exhibition opened at Contini Contemporary Gallery.
Successful Endless x Karl Lagerfeld – Collection and Exhibition Launches
It was a night to turn up and maybe wear a mask like an artist to hide your identity as any graffiti artist knows. Bomb and run.
The capsule collection included premium sweatshirts and t-shirts for men and women featuring Endless’ rendition of Karl Lagerfeld The grandmaster as the centrepiece. The exhibition showcased 12 one-of-a-kind works as an ode to Karl Lagerfeld who Endless has hailed as “one of the key creatives of our time.”
Endless x Karl Lagerfeld
It was not their first and most likely, not their last collaboration, but they have done it again, and it looked fashionably fun! The highly anticipated capsule collection from contemporary British street artist, Endless and the Karl Lagerfeld brand launched on November 7 in the brands’ Regent Street store. And we were there! I want a Carine Roitfeld hoodie.
We mixed and mingled with the fashion, and art set, and a lot of graffiti fans who waited in line for an autographed poster. With special guests like British rapper BEXEY in attendance, the event was lit.
It was the perfect combination of Endless’ bold and urban street art paired with the classical Parisian chic Karl Lagerfeld is associated with.
Endless, who has always admired Lagerfeld has hailed him as “one of the key creatives of our time.”
After the launch of the capsule, collection attendees headed to Contini Gallery just around the corner. Where Endless presented his 12 one-of-a-kind art pieces featuring Lagerfeld and did an exhilarating live performance.
The “Endless Karl” exhibition launch was well received by a full house and will be shown for the public until November 17, 2019. Put it on your fashion things to do in London.
