It seems like I have always battled with my sensitive skin. I have ever had to read the ingredients when shopping for Soaps & Body Washes For Sensitive Skin & Eczema. I could never pick anything and bath myself with the latest trendy new drug store scent by big brands.
In my childhood, it was at its worst, and eventually, I grew out of severing eczema outbreaks. My sensitive skin turned into asthma as an adult. This was when I realized my sensitive skin was due to stress.
Soaps & Body Washes Sensitive Skin & Eczema
Aveeno for Skin Relief
It was at its worst while living in Paris. Everyone smoked, so I was in and out of the hospital with asthma. When my doctor actually prescribed Aveeno products for my sensitive skin. With over 70 years of skincare expertise, the AVEENO® brand continues to act as a pioneer in the discovery of naturally active ingredients with real skincare benefits. \
This was my introduction to one of my favourite Soaps & Body Washes For Sensitive Skin & Eczema. Plus they have a lip balm made out of cold cream to moisten your lips. Now back to a relaxing bath with four of my favourites from their drug store range
Alive Powered by Magnesium
Alive is a new addition to my love of body gels to smell good and feel clean for my sensitive skin. The line is Multi-beneficial for skincare products and is powered by Magnesium. Another drug store favourite Magnesium helps our body function well and stay healthy.
Alive Magnesium PLUS Cooling Shower Gel helps to deeply cleanse and refresh your body making you feel revived and re-energised. Enriched with Aloe and Green Tea to help condition and nourish your skin. When my skin felt it need a little more this was the gel to wake it up.
SheaMoisture is my gold from Ghana. I hate to admit then when I have a guest I hide these products. Cause they are mine and do not want to share. When I lived in New York you could not find it everywhere. Now that I live in London I can find it everywhere. Like I said it is like gold when every I want to smell good or have a skin flair up. It always makes my skin feel like butter.
This family-run company comes from the beautiful country that is Ghana and was started by Sofi Tucker, who handcrafted Shea Butter Soaps and other creations. The range contains a variety of different of ingredients for both hair and body to look after various hair types and skin types including a Raw Shea Range, Fruit Fusion Range and an African Black Soap Range, which is renowned for its incredible healing properties
Korres is another healthy brand I have fallen in love with too. NO harsh chemicals or products you can hardly pronounce in the products. Does not irritate the skin and smells good too naturally. Korres is a Greek skincare brand with roots in Athens’ first-ever Homeopathic Pharmacy.
The first Korres product was an aromatic herbal syrup with honey and aniseed. A recipe inspired by “rakomelon”, a warming spirit with the honey concoction. Which George Korres’ grandfather used to favour in his hometown on the island of Naxos. Set up in 1996 with the aim to utilize its extensive scientific resources for the development of clinically effective and safe products, Korres today offers a natural and certified organic range in all areas of beauty and skincare. They all remind me of the smell of my grandmothers back yard.
Lucy Bee 100% Organic Coconut Oil
These little babes by Lucy Bee have replaced my hand pump soap. I have to wash my hands and the water in the UK is ruining my hands. The the rescue is my Lucy Bee traditionally made with 100% organic coconut oil. I actually use less hand cream now after.
Lucy Bee Fragrance-Free Natural Soap is always in the basket when I go to the health and beauty aisle at the natural food and beauty store. Their Fragrance Free Soap is traditionally made with our Extra Virgin Fair Trade Organic Raw Coconut Oil and as with all our Soaps, contains absolutely NO PALM OIL. It leaves skin feeling nourished, fresh and hydrated. Perfect for people with eczema and psoriasis.
Embryolisse Face & Body Gel
The Embryolisse is one of my new finds and absolutely in love with these products and not because I am French too. The French beauty brands know how to make products the are geared toward sensitive skin. Wonder why my skin looks so good!
Embryolisse. Originating from France, Embryolisse uses the most up-to-date research and progressive technology to ensure their products respect the natural balance of the skin whilst meeting the needs of the face and body. If you want to be moisturized, smoother and plumper skin then this the product for you. Like I cannot even describe how it feels going on your skin. Well like rubbing pearls all over your body and when you’re done, the skin actually feels like a pearl. BIODERMA Atoderm Shower Oil
BIODERMA Atoderm Shower Oil is safe enough for babies and perfect for my sensitive skin that suffers from eczema breakouts. The water in Europe is hard, and I did not get one of those showerheads the treat the water. This shower gel is how our family copes.
You can cleanse the sensitive skin of the entire family with the Bioderma Atoderm Ultra-Gentle Shower Gel, an ultra-rich foaming cleanser. Suitable for the surface of babies, children and adults alike, this luxurious cleansing gel softens and protects the skin while respecting its natural cutaneous barrier. It can be used on both the face and the body to eradicate daily impurities due to its caring, physiological pH.
Feelings of tightness reduced, the skin is moisturised, and comfort is restored once more to skin that is prone to irritation. The natural blue tint and delicate, fresh fragrance of the Atoderm Ultra-Gentle Shower Gel makes for a pleasurable, spa-like experience.
Use once or twice a day. Work into a lather on pre-moistened skin, and then rinse off thoroughly. The Bioderma Atoderm Ultra-Gentle Shower Gel is paraben-free, soap-free, colourant-free and hypoallergenic.
I know many of my choices may be a bit bougie but my skin loves it. In today’s age if you have sensitive skin and good skincare products you have to be willing to pay more for them. Cause we are worth it. Please tell us if you have tried these and which ones are your favourite.
