Rejina Pyo unveiled her latest collection in London Fashion Week.
The Seoul born design Rejina didn’t design anything over the top or theatrical. Instead, Pyo designed a collection for women – today’s women.
For All Kinds of Women
She had a lot of relaxed tailoring this season expect some garments that required a few fantasy twists. Featuring a few bold shoulders, draped tops and peplum. Peplum is making it’s come back. Rejina is notably an eco-designer. She uses sustainable fabrics, recycled polyester, organic cotton and so on. The colour palette remained neutral colours. Rejina Pyo is made for all kinds of women. Rather than trying too hard with a fantasy theme collection; Rejina Pyo came into FW with a more silenced approach. Designing looks that stay true to her and her vision. ‘Designing clothes for all kinds of women.’
Design To Be Shared
Pyo’s continues to reconstruct her signature designs and offer easy everyday wear. She states in her notes that the design was meant to be shared. She introduced the unisex element. Available to men next season.
“I’m not a fantasy fashion designer. I’m fascinated by people’s lives. And I want my clothes to live in their lives, and their wardrobes.”Rejina Pyo
Are you ready to wear and ready to take over the world in Rejina Pyo?
Pyo understands we need something to feel sexy, confident, strong in. We all need everyday wear. It is hard to find everyday wear, that is well made and still be a knock-out. Pyo understood that. This collection celebrates the silhouette of women and still brings that class and modesty that we need. Whether it’s a suit, top or dress; it seems as if Rejina is reading my mind. I want to look like a knock-out but I don’t want to show off all my goods. And I love tomboy clothes but I am a woman. I do admire the beautifully constructed suits cinched on the waist. I absolutely loved Rejina Pyo’s collection.
