I sure do miss waking up sun-kissed in Ibiza. Now I’m waking up sun-kissed on a Monday in Brooklyn, New York. I have been feeling groggy for the last couple of days. However, what is looking good is my Ibiza vacation photos. In Ibiza, I kept getting asked & messages regarding how my glowy make-up. Even my mum messaged me. My mum asked if I have a spray tan because I am perfectly sun-kissed and glowing. It feels like an accomplishment considering I’ve been working on my skin for months. Every day I take beauty supplements such as Collagen shots, Primrose Hip Oil, Biotin, Vitamin A and Green Tea. I was always that girl complimenting everyone’s skin and asking them their beauty routine. Also, extremely envious of those girl’s who could eat anything and drink anything. My great sun-kissed glowy make-up is a cocktail blend of Ibiza’s Vitamin D, beauty routine, minimal make-up and self-love. It is the answer!
Here’s how to achieve my Ibiza Sun-Kissed Make-Up Monday Look.
1. E.L.F Poreless Putty Primer £8.00 / USA $8.00
It is mandatory to have this primer. In the beauty world if there was a goddess Putty Primer is the goddess. The key ingredient in this primer is Squalane. The Squalane helps grip the makeup for all-day wear also lock in moisture. On top of all that, it also is poreless and leaves your skin looking smooth. Buy two it is always sold out!
£22.95 / USA $ 23.00
In Ibiza, I didn’t use foundation as I regularly do. I just sprinkled a little with the Beached Natural Bronzer Serum to even out the bronzer serum and my skin. And who better to know about sun-kissed then the Aussies. This little bronzer is magical. You could even use this serum on your face for a sun-kissed glow. I use 1-2 drops of Beached Serum with Milk foundation. I appeared more glowy, smooth, even-toned skin. A little goes a long way with this serum. It has UVA/UVB filters to protect your skin from sun damage, skin ageing etc. It also has the most potent fruit called Kakadu plum. It is 99% natural. I highly recommend buying for the next time you’re at the beach or pool. Charlotte and I love it too much. We ordered a few for our holidays.
3. Rouge Bunny Rouge Blush Stick €31.00 / Not Available in USA
One word: LOVE. I have been obsessed with blushes recently. I do not like powder blushes. I prefer light-weight cream blushes. Blush Wands does not disappoint. It is light enough to give room to build. I love that “flush” look. Blush wand delivers me that natural healthy flush. Not only is it applied to your cheeks but also eyelids and lips. All shades were inspired by the by chef d’oeuvres of the genius artists of the 19th century. How cute is that?
4. Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara Travel Size £12.00 / USA $14.00
I love long spidery eyelashes. Without a doubt, Velvet Noir mascara can do that. There isn’t a need for eyelashes when you’re using this mascara. I do not like false eyelashes. It feels like a heavy earring on my eyelids. Sometimes I use it on my brows. In Ibiza, I filled my brows with this Velvety mascara. My only fuss with this mascara it does run if you’re sweating. Otherwise, LOVE.
5. Laura Mercier Lip Pencil £19.00 / USA $ 26.00
Shade Red Chocolate
I recently started lining my lips. Laura Mercier earns the crown for the best lip pencil ever. It is creamy and smooth. It blends very well. With this pencil, I can achieve natural subtle lips. I pop on my ELF Jelly Pop Juicy Gloss and I’m good to go.
6. E.L.F Jelly Pop Juicy Gloss £5.00 / USA $5.00
Shade Apricot Pop
ELF lately been killing the beauty game. I’m from Brooklyn. When I was a teenager lipgloss was my whole life. I had every lipgloss from the 99 cents store. Every flavour except the chocolate flavour, it never appealed to me. ELF Jelly Juicy Pop gloss is a modern upgrade from my 99cent lipgloss. It is non-sticky and I can testify to that. It’s subtle and It doesn’t look overbearingly shiny. It doesn’t dry out my lips. The best thing about this lipgloss is the ingredients. The ingredients include hyaluronic acid, avocado oil, coconut oil, and castor oil. So not only is this lipgloss popping but it hydrates your lips.
7. Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation £34.00 / USA $40.00
A game-changer for me is Milk Make-Up. The only foundation I will use for the rest of my life. Are you worried about pores, acne, hyperpigmentation? Milk got you. 100% Vegan, Cruelty-free and free of parabens. It’s silicone-free, so it’s smoothing and using its blur effect without looking cakey. And let me tell you it also keeps your skin moisturized, yet it is matte to keep. It is feather light-weight but you can build for more coverage. The only issue I find with this foundation it does transfer. But with the help of ELF Putty Primer, I can spend the whole night and sunrise at Pacha and still look fabulous.
8. Innersense Colour Travel Trio £20.00 / USA $27.00
Sometimes we forget about our hair during the holidays. I never bring hair stuff with me on holidays. I end up giving up before trying. Also then crying about the consequences. THANK THE BEAUTY LORDS, Innersense released a travel kit for chemically coloured treated hair. Can you imagine the nightmare at the pool? My hair would have turned green. The Color Trio Collection kept my hair soft, blonde and hydrated. And yes it is natural. Free from all those nasty chemicals. This travel colour trio beat my expectations. I will continue bringing it with me on holidays.
