Last summer, cult beauty brand The Ordinary announced via the Deciem Instagram page that they will be launching cleansers. The late Brandon Truaxe posted a video announcing at least three new cleansers, whilst demonstrating one of them. The brand have since kept quiet on the release of these cleansers – that is until this week. The cleansers still don’t have a definite release date, but Deciem have hinted that they will be here sooner than later.
The Cleansers to Look Forward To

Let me start by answering the most common question we expect here: Suncare is coming (partially) this week. The exciting objects in this video are a couple of months away (unless you’re a ? at heart and certified by us ? in which case you’re possibly already using them). ♥️
According to Brandon, we can expect The Ordinary cleansers with active ingredients in keeping with the brand’s philosophy. Here are three cleansers to look forward to:
The Ordinary 2% Salicylic Acid with Activated Charcoal
Salicylic Acid will be your best choice if you have oily/combination skin.
The Ordinary 10% Azelaic Acid Cleanser
Azelaic Acid brightens skin tone and reduces redness by gently exfoliating the skin. If you’re looking for even skin tone and resurfacing, this is for you.
The Ordinary Squalene Oil-based Cleanser Gel
Squalene oil is primarily used for hydration to keep skin soft. Drier skins in need of a moisture boost and regulated oil production will love this one.
There seems to be a few more cleansers in the range we are looking forward to. Stay tuned for updates!
