Short Bio: Christelle Yambayisa is 22 years old , she was born in Rwanda but raised in Lyon (France). Both of her parents are from Rwanda, and they came to France when the war started in 1994. She now is based in Paris.

StyleCartel: What was your first memory of fashion?
Christelle: My first memory of fashion was that issue of Vogue Paris 2008 « Wanted ! Kate et Naomi Exclusive ». I was a so amazed and I bought it. I am in love with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.
StyleCartel: What was your first memory of Music?
Christelle: It was when a my friend played the piano for me and the 4 seasons by Vivaldi.
StyleCartel: How were you discovered?
I was scouted in Lyon. I was going to shopping in the center of my home time and then i meet a girl who asked me if i want to come a model.
StyleCartel: Worst modeling moment?
Christelle: It can happen a lot of the time. Imagine having to go to castings, fittings in around 10 days you have to travel more than 5 times in a month. These can be some of the worst moments in a models career.
StyleCartel: What has been your favorite modeling career moment so far?
Christelle: It happened in June 2016. I had a shooting for l’Officiel Germany. The best shooting ever, can’t wait for it to come out.
StyleCartel: Are you on snapchat?
Christelle: Yes, I am .
StyleCartel: What do you love and hate about Snapchat?
Christelle: I love it because all my friends can see what i do. As i am always away from France or busy, is important also for me to follow them and to see how they are going, how they feel… Also, since Instagram is now a « business place », snapchat allows be to share funny and private moments.
StyleCartel: Favorite designer? To work for?
Christelle:Is Jean-Paul Gaultier. I would love to work for him.
StyleCartel: Best traits you get from you parents?
Christelle: Hahaha, so hard to say. I guess the fact that i am tall. both are tall (1.86 and 1.76).
StyleCartel:What is your must have on the road beauty product?
Christelle:Is the Elizabeth Arden, 8 hour Cream.
StyleCartel:What are you up to when you’re not modeling?
Christelle: Blogging and Drawing.
StyleCartel: Other occupation beside modeling?
Christelle: I have a blog with more than 1500 subscribers. Here is my blog : www.conceptstorehealthyway.com .
I share healthy stuff written by other bloggers. My objective is to gather people who share the same philosophy of life.
StyleCartel: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Christelle: In Paris, working as a fashion and lifestyle consulting.
StyleCartel: What model do you look up to?
StyleCartel: What would you change about the modeling game?
Christelle: So many things, but first is about the atmosphere. Why people so unhappy and mean? Fashion should be fun, no?
StyleCartel: What advice to you give someone who wants to model?
Christelle: I would tell them the true about how it works. And tell young model that it essential is to believe in herself and go for it.
StyleCartel: What are you listening to right now?
StyleCartel: Im listening to French Hip Hop (Georgio HERA). 🙂
StyleCartel: You are not a Newcomer/Newface. What would you say you are?
Christelle: I am a New Face. I started in 2015, I hope I’ll do better next year.
