Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista reunited for the #KnotOnMyPlanet Campaign in support of the Elephant Crisis Fund.
Campbell, Turlington, and Evangelista, have joined forces for the first time in decades to show their support for the Doutzen Kroes led #KnotOnMyPlanet campaign, which supports the Elephant Crisis Fund. Patrick Demarchelier photographed the campaign image, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele created the concept, with hair by Oribe, makeup by Fulvia and design by Pascal Dangin.
#KnotOnMyPlanet pays homage to one of the key characteristics of these incredible creatures – their memory – for as we say, “elephants never forget.” That one hundred thousand elephants were killed in just three years suggests that we humans have forgotten elephants. This campaign therefore encourages the world to pledge to never forget elephants by donating to the ECF, tie knots, and share them on social media with #KnotOnMyPlanet.
“The #KnotOnMyPlanet campaign is unlike any other that I have been a part of, it has passion and purpose. As a mother, I don’t want my children to live in a world without elephants, and as a model, I knew that we could rally the fashion community to save the elephants at a time when they need it the most,” Doutzen Kroes, said.
