A hypoallergenic ultra-absorbent, patent pending womenswear collection, born from the desire to provide a solution for the unspoken skin condition affecting more and more women. As women’s work-life balance becomes blurred, trends to wear active wear as leisure wear is seeing gym-goers remaining in their damp sportswear for long periods of time, leading to skin irritations.
When Stacey was first diagnosed with ‘brash’, a term she coined for her persistent breast rash, it set her thinking about how others were suffering in silence. Having tirelessly searched for a solution to prevent this condition, to no avail, Stacey set to work to come up with her own design solution. Launching with the Staefit sports top with built-in support bra, designed to wick away moisture with its absorbent silver anti-bacterial fabric and no-odor technology, Stacey has worked closely with sports fabric technologists and designers to create this patented design solution.
Acclaimed dermatologist Dr Raj Mallipeddi agrees “reducing the amount of sweat or moisture in skin folds is vital to minimising irritation and therefore dermatitis.”
This exclusive patent-pending bra top comes with in-built supportive cups and with a front-closing zip making it easier and quicker to remove compared to traditional “pull over” vest-style tops. The range also includes capri and long workout leggings made with the same absorbent fabric with compression panelling. The collection is available in flattering black opaque with vibrant colour pops to reflect Stacey’s active, fun, zest for life attitude. The range is not only comfortable and practical but also fashionable following Stacey’s mantra; ‘If you look good when you are working out you also feel good and confident about yourself’.
Stacey’s background in dance music, with hits such as ‘Pointing Fingers’, ‘I Am a Woman’ and ‘Is This Love’ reaching the UK Top 10, combined with her love of keeping fit has made her a popular music choice that can be heard in clubs and bars, workout tracks and gyms nationwide. In conjunction with the launch of the collection, Stacey is including a free download of the first volume of her workout E.P. “StaePumped”.
