Bonjour le monde!
Her inspiration for this collection came from the vegetable artichoke, which she transformed beautifully and perfectly into her garments.
I found the collection very feminine, but sporty and elegant at the same time. You could also see the military trend coming through in some of her outfits, which I really love this season! A very wearable collection, in the beautiful colours of the artichoke like dark purple and olive green to pastel colours.
Very clean design, but also sexy. I love it!
As the first and only completely sustainable label to show at Berlin Fashion Week, ANNE GORKE’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection explores the contrast between the softness of colours and the severity of cuts, along with striking military accents, while staying true to the finest quality ecological materials and her signature style of clean lines and subtle elegance.
A N N E G O R K E ’s SS14 collection comes laden with astute contradictions. White wine and artichokes stand as witted symbols of the undisputable distinction of simplicity and sensibility and inspire the colour palette of rose, cream and khaki tones. The khakis venture into nuances of creams, gold and military shades, including transparent sand tones and navy blue crepe de chine, while a softer palette rounds up the designer’s vision of colour for SS 14 with white gabardines, light yellow and sand-coloured leathers, pale rose tones and silks in gold-beige.
