Runway Review Thom Browne Menswear S/S 2013 Collection

Preppy Hipster: The show/presentation took us to a mythical place in Paris. We were greeted by large silver brogues carefully placed in the grass. It was a mid-summer nights dream and the grand finally of Paris Menswear Fashion week.  Joy Joy.

Trend: Vacation wear that has all the colours of the rainbow. Preppy meets hippie if you get my drift, very trippy feeling to the collection. With outré layering and cropping in Lollypop colored ginghams and madras, beaded lobster appliqués, whale-print trousers, knee socks.  It was all about the detail. The collection gave menswear new meaning to a day suit perfect for grudgey gentlemen.

Key Pieces: Short, blazers, ties, and  short pants.

Accessories: Umbrellas, sunglasses, brogues and flight caps.

Swag:

This guy already has swag if, he’s knows the name Thom Browne.  This hipster knows  it’s all about the detail and wants his clothing to be a conversation piece at the party.  It’s all  about your imagination and living life like Peter Pan.
