Stuff to do PFW Men: Christian Lacroix Mix & Match Boutique
On June 1st 2012, The Fashion House of Christian Lacroix unveiled its brand new boutique in a former printing shop located at 2-4 Place Saint Sulpice in the 6th arrondissement where the house held the first menswear show of the House. As we get ready to kick of the men’s shows in Paris the new boutique is the ideal time for the hipster crowd to boogie on down to the left bank and discover the new Christian Lacroix boutique and the new menswear collection.
In addition to the men’s fashion and accessory collections, 3 pieces from Brazilian Designer Rodrigo Almeida – edited by Fateditions and created with the collaboration of Sacha Walckhoff – will be shown at the boutique. If your’re the hipster man about town and forgot a few key pieces or just want the special gift to take home with you then look no further. The Christian Lacroix boutique gives you art, culture, design and men’s style all in one place.
The boutique New Generation will host iconic creations from the brand such as eyewear; scarves leather goods , stationary, home accessories and scented candles. The boutique is also conceived as a place of exchange and is about sharing the creative director’s personal favourites and new discoveries.
You can expect creations from designer Sam Baron, Pierre Favresse, the “Continued Vase” from Newduivendrecht ,the “Dish of Desire” from Frederik Roijé but also protective jewellery from Shamira Klein, and the glassware colored imported from Portugal, aromatic soaps ‘Claus Porto’ or books which retrace the story of the Fashion House. Our favourite pieces are the glassware its all about the hipster home.
For House fans, a selection of “vintage” accessories chosen amongst the archives will regularly be proposed for sale as well as contemporary creations in order to emphasize this mix and match place. So if you in town for men’s fashion week and need a break from shows for a little shopping head to:
