Runway Review Christian Lacroix Menswear S/S 2013
Sportswear Sleek: This hipster boy wants clothes that he can wear on his board, bike and to work if he has too.
Menswear is defiantly taking a tour back to the streets, but with a twist talking to all types of men. Sacha Walckhoff for Christian Lacroix seems to have spent a lot of time near water for his inspiration for the Christian Lacroix homme.
Trend: Classic Sports wear with beautifully cut shirts and shorts.
Prints took us back to the Lacroix heritage, combined with a flamboyant, sporty feel. Bits 90s – hip-hop, think B.I.G and Puffy Daddy in a video. Or your dad in a Sergio Tacchini track suit
Key Pieces: White pieces, bomber jackets, nylon sports jackets, shirts and trousers.
Collages of, graphic print t-shirts were layered under white jackets.
Key Colours: White, yellow, red, florescent pink and blue.
Accessories: Plaid over night bag.
Sass: Entrepreneur by day and like to party and is totally into extreme sports.
This hipster needs clothes that will take him from the start up boardroom to the street where he commutes via skateboard or dirt bike.
