Isn’t It Romantic?” Thought Rei Kawakubo, as she peeped out to check what the crowd looked like before the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus show in Paris today. Mixed with a little Keith Richards and Dandyism. Rei ditch the niceness and went hard core for this collection. The models strutted their stuff with attitude and a Comme des Garçon air about them. The collection was not for your everyday hipster and the high water pants for men is the trend out of Paris.  Keeps us wondering were is the flood? 

Swag: Modern day dandy wear classic trench coats, pea coats and motorcycle jackets well cut. Blazers and shorts in geometric prints were formed from tie and scarf fabrics and jumpers were studded with crystals. Rei’s signature polka dot, pinstripes and checkerboard patterns were worked into cropped trousers and coats.

My favourite bits were the Dandy styled head gear, if lady Gaga had a twin brother he would defiantly wear one on tour. The grunge feel and musical selection took us back to the late 80′s. The eastern inspired tailoring fit just the way a dandy prince likes it for a day with Lord of the Thrones.
