COMME DES GARÇONS Opens Two Shops in Berlin

COMME DES GARÇONS brings two of its retail concepts to Germany just in time for Berlin Fashion Week. Fashion week in Berlin will kick of on the 17 of January and two day’s before COMME DES GARÇONS BLACK SHOP and COMME DES GARÇONS POCKET SHOP, will open on January 15th, 2012. What away to draw more editors and citizen journalist to the edgy fashion city.

The concept is based on the idea of integrating the brand in the authentic district of Berlin-Mitte, where the shops merge with their surroundings in a lively residential area. A retail experience that interrelates with the neighbourhood and is located where people live, work and do their everyday shopping.

The BLACK SHOP presents the brandʼs BLACK line featuring perennially iconic COMME DES GARÇONS styles, mainly in black. Strong, yet subtle pieces, independent in their aesthetic approach at more accessible prices.

The POCKET SHOP next door is a small and intimate space that offers COMME DES GARÇONSʼ expanding range of perfumes, wallets and PLAY. The shop works like a convenience store, stocked with a wide array of permanent products along with an ever changing selection of special editions.
