The mood was right for Jonny Johansson collection for Acene because he “ started the Autumn Winter ’12 with the word ‘fake’ – when we were researching fabrics we were bouncing the idea of imitation-materials that pretend to be something they are not. Fake, fur, vinyl, polyester.”
Swag: Hipster who stays on trend but does not follow the trend. A sweater is a must and has to be warm, but light enough to wear with a bomber jacket. Made to measure for normal guy who is a little geek with style. High water pants that don’t make you look like Steve Urkel. Oh and yes, he does carry a man bag with all his gadgets.

More from the designer and the emotion that he chose for inspiration Love. Now this emotion is a tricky one when you don’t have it you want it and when you do have it your always second guessing it. I think are generation thinks it’s to good to be true sometimes.

“ At the same time I was juggling with a friend’s struggle with relationships. Love is a difficult animal for men- women are so much more comfortable with the emotion, whereas guys carry it around as a physical piece of uncertainty. The kid who has a heart full of love was never the coolest guy at high school but he was the one who was always the most creative” This was me to in high school and look at us now suckers.
The Trend counted with Harris tweeds contrasted against furniture vinyl, Bomber jackets, British mohair with silk and fake fur. Muted colours contrasted with reds, blues, and clean white- “ a bit like the relationship of that high school kid” Jonny Johansson. I just wanted to know how did JJ know so many of us had relationship problems last year?
