Skiwear brand LOOK Opens in Paris. The first shop opens this autumn in the heart of Paris at 217 Rue Saint Honoré.
LOOK has been a French heritage ski-wear brand since 1951. This autumn the brand went back to its roots and launched a clothing line specifically for town and mountain wear that is both chic and technical.
Look gave it a high tech fashion sportswear edgy to talk today’s hipster. This new clothing range is a return to the sources formulated in the conditions that demonstrate the importance of the achievements for the long-established Alpine brand.
Paris and the Alps were specifically chosen as locations because the new collection is based on references which are more tailored for the town but with technical features which are specially developed for the mountains.
LOOK has revived the brand’s fundamental values – elegance, luxury and performance –in both look and feel. The style of the town blends effortlessly with the demands of the mountains. The shop houses the mountain wear collection consists of jackets, sweaters, hoods, mountain shoes, gloves and mittens for both men and women. Pieces are made by using specialised fibres including TechWool and Tinsulate Platinum which improve the regulation of body temperature. Stores in Megève, Gstaad, Crans Montana and Courchevel are also planned to open throughout 2012.
