McQ Press Flash Announces Flagship Store & Debut LFW Show

The week in news out of London is making me change my mind about skipping next London fashion week. Major designers have decided to return to the city of edgy fashion. The most exciting news is Alexander McQueen announced plans for the opening of a McQ store in London in Spring 2012.  The McQ bridge line will also join the Fashion week calendar to revive London fashion week.  Here is  a  peek at S/S 2012 McQ that will be on sale in the new store.

The new home for McQ will be a Georgian townhouse located at 14 Dover Street, London W1S 4LW with 4 storeys and 273 square metres of retail space, McQ’s first flagship store will be designed by Pod and will offer womenswear, menswear as well as accessories from the collection.

For the first time since the brand was launched, McQ will present the Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 collection with a catwalk show at London Fashion Week in February 2012 as a preview to the store opening. StyleCartel.com will return to covering London fashion week because we heart McQ too. Time to break out my McQ jeans with the zippers down the back.  This line speaks more to my pocket and personal street style rocker chic friendly.

The main line Alexander McQueen collection will continue to show at Paris Fashion Week thank god.  Just think  McQ show in London if only Alexander were still alive.  Here is what we have to look forward to, but with a more street edge of McQ.
