Mulberry Hits Coachella for a BBQ and Pool Party
Creative Director Emma Hill and the Mulberry team headed to sunny Palm Springs, California to host an exclusive barbeque and pool party on Saturday 16th April 2011.
To celebrate and showcase their Autumn Winter 2011 season, guests were invited to pop along to the Gene Autry House at The Parker Hotel to view the collection, before taking some time out from Coachella festivities to laze around the Gene Autry Pool, where Mulberry towels lay invitingly on sun-loungers and beach balls bobbed in the water. Toadstools, trees and other decorative elements from our Autumn Winter catwalk show surrounded the area, and their VIB: Very Important Bayswater (a huge gold inflatable version of their classic design) was the photo-ready backdrop to the pool!
Partygoers included Nicole Richie (wearing Annie Blouse in Pumpkin Feathered Friends and the Heritage Bayswater Satchel in Pheasant Green), Camilla Belle (wearing the Kilty Blouse in Petticoat White and Mini Carter in Midnight), Eliza Doolittle (wearing the Taylor Mini Satchel in Bright Cabbage)
Gia Coppola (wearing the Carter Camera Bag in Midnight), Nathalie Love (wearing the Lily in Red Onion Haircalf), Teresa Palmer (wearing the Buckle Bag in Midnight), Laura Love (wearing the Lily in Winter White), Alexa Chung, Jazzy Di Lisser, Nicole Richie,Harley Viera Newton, Skye Ferrera and Hudson Hill.
All the invitees were treated to a summery feast of veggie or jumbo crab and sweet corn sliders, tofu or chicken kabobs, mini fish tacos, French Fries, fruit cups and salads, with decadent woodland-inspired berry mojitos to drink.
And for you listening pleasure the associate Editor at Teen Vogue, were the resident DJs for the event.
