Paper lashes by PAPERSELF

Chunwei Liao grew up around paper and cardboard thanks to the family business. Affective links and comprenhension of the medium run deep. It was only logical that PAPERSELF, launched in september 2009, would explore all the different uses of paper with a handpicked theme of designers and engineers.

Always a great fan of false eyelashes, I fell in love immediately with these delicate lace of a lash, created by Ting Wu Yang. Inspired by traditional Chinese paper arts and using beloved symbols such as peach blossoms, peonies and horses, these beauties are sold online at Luna and Curious – £12 for a pair of the larger lashes or £10 for two sets of the smaller ones.
