I have so many I-Phone apps and fashion FaceBook friends I can not keep up! Now Louis Vuitton has  launched its APP on the 10th of March.  How did I miss this the queen of fashion apps?  With a  live on-line broadcast of its Women Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Ready to Wear Show on Facebook and iPhone OS 3.0.  Oh, yeah I forgot I was in Paris for fashion week, I need to keep up with the times.

Louis Vuitton was the first luxury goods brand to develop a fully integrated digital communications strategy, “The Art of Travel By Louis Vuitton”, which began with the launch of an official “Tweet” on Twitter and the creation of an official Facebook fan page in June 2009 (www.facebook.com/louisvuitton). This fan page has become the official on-line destination for everything regarding Louis Vuitton; its specially dedicated content has attracted more than 850,000 fans from all over the world to date.

In October 2009, Louis Vuitton, in line with its tradition of pioneering new territories, was proud to be the first luxury brand to broadcast its fashion show live on Facebook.
A fashion show usually caters to the 1,000 happy few who are invited. This time, we were able to send over 700,000 invitations! Live comments were incredibly positive and we increased our “fan base” by 30 per cent in just a few days,” said Antoine Arnault, Communications Director at Louis Vuitton

As part of its fully integrated digital strategy, Louis Vuitton launched an official Youtube Louis Vuitton channel (www.youtube.com/louisvuitton) in November 2009.

The Louis Vuitton Facebook page will be able to watch the latest Marc Jacobs creations for Louis Vuitton streamed live from Paris Fashion Week. Louis Vuitton is going one step further and is reinforcing its digital presence by offering a live broadcast on your iPhone at fashionshow.louisvuitton.com

Viewers on the Louis Vuitton Facebook fan page will also be given the opportunity to see different views of the Show by choosing between multi-camera. Louis Vuitton is eager to create interaction with its online community; therefore, Facebook fans will also be able to comment on the event live and watch the show alongside their own friends online.
