ASOS.COM LAUNCHES ‘HUB’ OF TALENT
One of my favorite places to shop on line is ASOS. I have to admit every article of clothing that I wear that I bought from ASOS I always get complemented on the look. What I really like, is that its not high street, so you won’t see your out fit walk buy you on the streets of London or NYC.
StyleCartle always love the creations of young designers, so when we found out that ASOS want to be the hub for today’s new generation of fashion designers, we had to report .As part of its continued commitment to supporting and nurturing hot new talent, ASOS.com introduces ‘Hub’ – a series of exclusive design collaborations from the best in emerging design talent.
ASOS.com has worked with a stellar line-up of designers including ‘Fashion East’ favorites Louise Gray and Holly Fulton, A-list label of choice Poltock & Walsh, ex-Lanvin jewellery designer Ligia Dias and Lagerfeld protégé Scott Wilson. The A/W Hub portfolio consists of a total of 15 handpicked clothing and accessory designers.
Taking inspiration from their mainline collections and staying true to their signature styles, each designer has produced a capsule collection exclusively for ASOS. Each clothing designer has produced between 8-12 pieces exclusively for ASOS and each accessory designer between 3-8 pieces.
Caren Downie, Buying Director, ASOS.com, said: “ASOS has built its reputation on pioneering new concepts and is extremely excited to be launching ‘Hub’, a portfolio of brave new design talent. The designers have all been selected for their individual, creative personalities.”
