Diet on a Plate

As the holidays near everyone is making their list and checking them twice, this is the easy part.  The hard part is thinking about what to wear to the company end of year party, parties, diners and the 2009 New Year’s Eve bash!  From this day forth sugar is bad, if you want to get into that outfit!

This is me Before:

I have decided to chronicle my 2-month diet plan to a healthier me. Many of my friends who have changed their lives, added two things diet & exercise and the book by Anita Bean “Fitness on a Plate.”  I have challenged myself to exercising every day, enlisted one of the Style Cartel’s editors to motivate me, so that I will be able to love myself for who I am, feel good in my body, and enjoy the holiday’s.  Then be in shape for Fashion week!

I will start a low carb diet, I will run every morning for at least 30 min. Yes, I will get up every morning and exercise for the next 60 days.  This will be hard because my  life involves a lot of travelling.  I am off to NYC and San Francisco next week.

Diet programs always suggest that you write down what you eat.  That is why  my daily diet will match my exercise regime.   I felt if I chronicled my story I would get encouragement from the Style Cartel readers.  If you relate and want to join me on this journey please leave a comment because we all know it’s easier said then done!

I would appreciate your support, tips, and suggestions.

Day 1: What I ate today:

For breakfast I had a piece of whole-wheat toast with smoked salmon.

Lunch two rice cakes, 2 slices of cheese and an apple.

Snack: I have to admit I cheated and had a Chai Tai skinny latté from Starbuck not good!

Dinner: lamb chops with a Chinese vegetable mix.

Check back for the after pictures and share your best diets ideas.  Help me stay focused so I can get into those favorite pair of jeans.
