If you haven’t heard we are still in a recession, but I think many of us have missed the memo. The press say we ladies have not stopped shopping and the high street till is still chiming with the sounds of Chaching!

Many of us have moved back in with mom and dad to save money which gives the stylish more disposable income. Its just money anyway. Well H&M to the rescue with fall fashion trends, to add to what you already have in your wardrobe.

For fall the H&M team went back to basics with its traditional styles and refinded cuts giving us classic staples “that are updated and remodelled” sasy H&M Head of Design Ann Sofie Johansson. My favorites are from the Power collection and the New Tailoring collections.

The inspiration behind the Power collection is the 80′s with the sharp square shoulders and a narrow waist. This trend is great for the body conscious lovers of black. Clean cut tailoring made in super strectch pieces and statement accessories to match.

The New Tailoring collection is dramatic and elaborate not made for the non-edgy dresser. The shapes are in contrasting proportions for women tailor made statement pieces.

For cool cats it’s all about the sleek tailored look for the smart geezer.
