Scherer González presented its Autumn/Winter collection for 2009 last Saturday, January 31st 2009 at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.

The collection consisted of 50-pieces with multifaceted evening gowns, inspired by lavishness of the Rococo era Marie Antoinette and Lady Chatterley were the mews for the collection.

Voluptuous shapes were countered by more subdued, almost Victorian forms. The severe lines of a military-style suede jacket are broken up by playful puffed sleeves and the delicacy of the material. Voluminous transparency is reined in by strips of smooth leather. Pullovers of finest merino wool and dandy-style high-waist trousers in English wool complete the mix.
Scherer González brought Couture to Berlin with a touch of old and new. With all the drama and creativity that comes with couture the designers were able to deliver the collection with drama, imagination and creativeness.
