StyleCartle was extremely impressed by the third collection for Qasimi http://www.qasimi.com. It took my breath away. I could hardly believe 3RD collection bravo I just had to thank him personally for a great collection after the show.
Design duo Khalid AlQasimi and Elliot Frieze presented A/W 09/10 line that was without a doubt saying good by to their ready-to-wear and screaming couture. Maybe even setting the stage for the West Ends or Broadway’s take on the movie Twilight. With a promise of years to come and maybe joining the few lines willing to take the challenge of showing in Paris for couture week.

From beginning to end there was drama with a backdrop of real flowers made for a funeral. Out walks Erin O’Conner with a hat to die for, literally. The stage is set the Qasimi brought “Super Model back! Yasmin Le Bon, hence why hubby was there. Liberty Ross, Jade Parfitt, Jacquetta Wheeler, Adina Fohlin, Cecilia Chancellor, Lily Cole and the Diva herself CARMEN DELL’OREFICE giving it! Oh the headgear made for women who can work a hat. How English these hats were crafted by Alison Tod and the shoes were sculptured by Terry De Havilland. The theme was “heartache” of loss bringing strength to those left behind. The line consisted of exquisite hand-stitched garments with jewels; jet ebony and Onyx. The Qasimi muse conveys sophistication with the master-class tailoring, suiting, corsetry and drapery, which details the Qasimi apperception of femininity and romanticism.
