Paul and Joe- Some of the show – Fall 2009/2010
Uh oh, I’m going to have trouble picking a favourite in men’s fashion for next fall/winter collection, because I’m seeing so many gorgeous things here. And there are so many pieces that I’d like to see in my guyfriends’ wardrobes (if only so I can steal them for myself).
Anyways, lend me your eyes and let’s go see Paul & Joe through Olivier’s beautiful photography…
To me, the failsafe sign that a collection will be beautiful is when the designer is wearing something very similar. If a designer can see himself in his designs, then it’s definitely going to be wearable! Here, Olivier Mullin in a jacket that could have well been in the collection, as seen above.
Quirky details and unexpected pastels give Paul & Joe’s A/W offering a distinctive offbeat feel to it that livens up both suits and casualwear. I’m digging the reworked pink hoodie and thick cloud-coloured knits that show that comfortably casual doesn’t mean being a slob.
